Smart city technology has the potential to positively impact the urban experience in an equitable way while also reducing carbon emissions and increasing energy savings. Join a panel of experts who will present unique perspectives on how to ethically deploy smart technology, the considerations that need to be made, and how to realistically incentivize innovation and entrepreneurial approaches.

Event Logistics:

- This panel is an official SXSW event through an official SXSW partner. RSVP is required but you do not need a SXSW badge to attend.

- This event will take place at Wax Myrtle in the Thompson Hotel at 506 San Jacinto. When you arrive, enter the hotel lobby, go through the lobby to the elevator banks at the back of the room, choose the 4th Floor (Wax Myrtle) and event staff will direct you to the venue.

- Parking is extremely limited due to the volume of attendees at SXSW. Public transportation and ride share is highly encouraged.
